The job
As Service Operations and Service Desk Agent you'll provide technical support to users and you'll be troubleshooting for end-users (remotely via the service desk and in-person at specific onsite locations). You will work with applications/systems in order to make analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of the issues at hand. There is also a range of administration duties.
Your daily work will include tasks like these:
- Be the first point of contact for IT help via phone, email, and chat
- Solve basic tech problems and pass on complex ones to senior teams
- Provide on-site installation, repair and maintenance services
- Help users with logins, passwords, and system access
- Support employees with email, VPN, and software issues, both in-office and remotely
- Keep records of issues and fixes in the system.
- Help with office setups, hardware deliveries, and meeting room tech
- Keep track of company IT equipment and software
Your qualifications
π You speak and write Dutch at a C1 level and you can communicate well in English (B2).
π Experience in application support/software development and IT service desk.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common enterprise
applications. - Certifications (Optional) ITIL, Microsoft Certified: Modern desktop administrator.
- Associate, MCSE, Software Development/Application support.
- Level of expertise L1 β L2 on-site or remote support.
- Valid EU driving license (Category B or higher).
π» You have a good understanding and level of computer handling skills.
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Familiarity with ticket systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, HPSM, BMC Remedy, monitoring tools, CA Service Desk or similar.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and procedures would be an added advantage
- Basic understanding of IT security best practices
