The job

As a German-speaking Team Leader in the sales and financial services sector, you will lead and support a large German and Austrian sales team of more than 50 employees.

You will be responsible for driving team performance, maintaining excellent customer service standards and supporting the daily operational workflow. This role combines leadership, coaching, operational management and customer support responsibilities in a fast-paced international environment.

The role is fully office-based in Msida, Malta.

Your daily work will include tasks like these:

• Leading, motivating and developing a sales team of more than 50 employees

• Managing daily operations including scheduling, workload distribution and performance monitoring

• Conducting coaching sessions, feedback meetings and performance reviews

• Ensuring high-quality customer interactions and compliance with internal guidelines

• Handling escalated customer cases professionally and efficiently

• Monitoring KPIs and operational performance metrics

• Preparing reports and presenting insights to management

• Identifying trends and recommending process improvements

• Collaborating with internal departments and external partners

• Supporting a positive and performance-driven team culture

Your qualifications

💭 You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

💼 You have experience leading teams of 30+ employees, ideally within sales, customer support or call centre environments.

📊 You have knowledge of the financial services sector or similar industries.

🎯 You understand sales processes and customer service excellence.

💬 You are a confident communicator with strong leadership and coaching abilities.

🧩 You are organised, reliable and structured in your way of working.

💻 You are comfortable using MS Office and CRM or collections software.

🤝 You are motivated by developing people and improving team performance.
