The job
Working as a customer advisor in the travel industry means that you are the first point of contact between the customers and the travel company. Therefore, you will be representing them as a company and providing professional advices and guidance with the forthcoming travel inquiries, questions, and issues. This can range from qualified advices on where to go, how to get there, if destinations are safe and trustworthy, and issues with payments. Therefore, it is important that you are a problem-solving individual with a positive attitude. You will receive the necessary training before you start handling customers.
Your daily work will include tasks like these:
- Provide the highest level of support to customers via phone and email
- Give accurate, valid, and complete information by using the proper procedures (you will receive all necessary training and tools for this)
- Build a meaningful relationship, answering customers' questions in a friendly and professional manner
- Meet and exceed customer service quality goals, compliance regulations, and productivity targets - also in order to get performance bonuses
- Be responsible for following the direction of the management and providing feedback
Your qualifications
💭 You speak and write Dutch at a native level and you are fluent in English (B2).
🎓 Experience in customer support and the travel industry is a plus but not a must.
💻 You have a basic understanding and level of computer handling skills. Excellent multitasking skills.
💪🏻 You have a desire to learn and advance, and be a curious investigator and problem solver.
🥇 Strong communication skills with excellent phone conversation skills, attentive listening skills. You have good interpersonal relationship building skills.
