About the job

We are one of the world’s leading medical assistance and claims handling companies, annually processing over 160 000 cases around the globe. We are a unique gateway to a comprehensive worldwide provider network, local know-how, assistance, and cost containment for travel insurance, health insurance, and corporate companies. As an Insurance Coordinator, you will ensure that the transport will be coordinated with different parties if the customer has broken a leg on a ski trip. All to ensure that the Danish insurance clients get the help they need and get home safe.

Key responsibilities:

• Handle any inbound or outbound communication related to Assistance. These communications may include policyholders, medical and technical providers, agents, insurers, or other Euro-Center offices.

• Register all communications and take action in the systems provided by the company.

• Co-ordinate logistic arrangements locally and internationally to assist policyholders with medical and other claims.
• Coordinate with the medical professionals according to the companies’ escalation process.
• Be able to understand the available provider network and identify preferred providers in different countries adequate for an ongoing case.

Required Qualifications

• Danish speaker with complete professional fluency in the English language. Additional knowledge of the Swedish language will be an advantage
• At least two years of work experience. Previous work experience in medical assistance or the travel industry will be an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree or Certificate of Higher Education
• Excellent IT skills
• Good general knowledge, strong communication skills with a focus on an empathic approach, listening skills, and attention to detail
• Good team player and works well under pressure
• Able to work in rotating shifts, including 2-3 nights per month
